Kroots are part of the Tau, although they are viewed as their greatest threat due to their retaliation and assassinations to Tau government officials and scientists. In the past few years, a disease broke loose into space, effecting many other species and planets. The Chicken Lizards have been responsible in the role of exposing the Tau of releasing the disease and hiding information of it's cure.
Spec Op: Extraction - Hidden Cure
For many years, the Tau have survived many outbreaks, making them by far the most observant in attempts of genocide. Until one day, a plague had surfaced and effected many Tau and their beneficiaries. The disease became uncontrollable, leaking through the planet's surface, infecting many others and their species. Rumors and conspiracies had brought awareness to well-known bounty hunters, Chicken Lizards, where they began their investigation on the source of the outbreak. With thorough investigation, many distractions, and many obstacles, a discovery was made with the Chicken Lizards scout raven, in which targeted classified exchanges between Tau scientists and officials, proving inside treason. Therefore, Operation Extraction began.
