The warband now known as the Hive Corrupted was lost during the fall of an isolated death world, where a splinter of the Great Devourer consumed all beneath the choking spores of decay. What emerged from the silence were not servants of the Hive Mind, nor true sons of the Plague God, but something abhorrent to both.

Their armour is fused with living chitin, their flesh a grotesque union of rot and alien adaptation. Limbs regenerate into talons, bloated organs pulse beneath carapace, and the dead rise bearing the instincts of predators they should never have known. Whether they are plague-ridden warriors infected by Tyranid bioforms, or Tyranid organisms corrupted by impossible contagion, none can say.

They fight as a single hunting pack, spreading both pestilence and biomass in equal measure. Wherever the Hive Corrupted are encountered, Imperial commanders order immediate extermination. No samples are to be recovered.
