Many soldiers of the Imperial Guard are simple men, who got conscripted against their will. They are untrained, unmotivated, unfaithful servants of Emperor. In spite of their shortcomings, they make up the core of the Guard and are what makes it what it is. “They told us we were expendable. I didn’t think they meant this quickly.
