The Kill Team known as the Sons of the Abyss, are part of the Warband of Plague Marines known as the Depth Guard. This warband consists of marines that were forgotten on a deep sea world, adapting to the depths thanks to Grandfather Nurgle's blessings.

They operate out of the Nautilox, their Repulsive Cruiser, which had been sunken on the ocean planet along with the rest of their fleet.
