The term "Blackshield" came to be used during the Horus Heresy in the early 31st Millennium to cover a wide range of Space Marine outcasts, marauders and those Legiones Astartes units of uncertain allegiances or origin.

Mystery and suspicion attached themselves to such warriors regardless of their true loyalties or intentions, and while some did deliberately scour their old heraldry from their armour or replace it with some false device or heraldry of their own, their name of Blackshield was often a literal description for armour over-masked or simply scorched black. In battle, Blackshields were observed using "Pariah" Wargear, modifying their armour and weapons in ways that would have been considered illegal in the Legiones Astartes along using a limitless tapestrery of Xenos weaponry from wherever they stumble upon during their eternal vendetta.

Clad in heavy Gravis armor, Aggressor Squads advance on the foe as walking fortresses of ceramite. More mobile than some other Space Marines, they’re better able to negotiate rough ground, making them versatile troops; while they are often employed in specific circumstances or on certain terrain, Aggressor Squads are used as reserves to plug breaches in gun lines or to spearhead an advance. The range of their weaponry is not too long, but when they get close enough to open fire, the result is a sweeping fusillade of large-calibre bolter shells that can shatter enemy charges.

Clad in auric artificer plate and borne aloft on roaring jump packs, the Sanguinary Guard are the living embodiment of the Blood Angels’ martial perfection. Chosen from the most exemplary warriors of the Chapter, these angels of death fight not as a line infantry force, but as a descending spearhead — striking with speed, precision, and overwhelming violence before the enemy can react.

Led by a Praetor of the Host, the Sanguinary Guard fight as a coordinated shock force. At the Praetor’s command, warriors descend from on high, crash into the foe with unstoppable momentum, and withdraw just as swiftly — leaving only shattered bodies in their wake. When the Red Thirst takes hold, their assaults become truly apocalyptic, as each strike is delivered with the fury of Sanguinius himself.

Astartes: During each friendly Adeptus Astartes operative’s activation, it can perform either two Shoot actions or two Fight actions. If it’s two Shoot actions, a bolt weapon must be selected for at least one of them. A bolt weapon is any ranged weapon that includes ‘bolt’ in its name, e.g. bolt rifle, bolt pistol, etc.

Each friendly Adeptus Astartes operative can counteract regardless of its order.

Vivispectrum analysis: Whenever a friendly Biologis Research team operative finishes a shoot or fight action. If the target lost any wounds as a result of that action add 1 research point to your research pool. During the strategy phase when it is your turn to activate a strategic gambit you may activate a research ability detailed below. To do so, expend a number of research points equal to the abilities cost. You may not expend research points to activate the same research ability more than once per turning point.

Research abilities: Cost:Description

2: Select a friendly Biologis Research Team operative. For the rest of the battle add 1 to this operative’s APL of when determining control of objectives.

4: Select a friendly Biologis Research Team operative. For the rest of the battle that operative’s weapons have Ceaseless

4: Select a friendly Biologis Research Team operative. For the rest of the battle, the operative’s weapons have severe.

4: Select a friendly Biologis Research Team operative. For the rest of the battle add 1 to that operatives save characteristic.

6: Choose an opponent's Strategic Ploy or Firefight Ploy. The next time that ploy is selected it costs 1 more cp to activate.

8: Select a visible enemy operative. Until the end of the turning point that operative cannot use any abilities or unique actions

X: Select an enemy operative that operative cannot activate until:

  • Your opponent has activated a number of enemy operatives equal to half the number of research points used to activate this research ability.

BLOOD ANGELS – SPEAR OF THE HEAVENS

In the grim darkness of the 41st Millennium, there is only war.

With the sons of Sanguinius stretched thin across a thousand burning fronts, salvation often descends not in armies—but in fire. From the strike cruiser Baal’s Fury, a single five-man assault cadre is unleashed where the line falters and hope dies. Known as the Spear of the Heavens, their coming is heralded by thunder from the skies and the scream of descending jump packs.

They fall like meteors into the heart of the enemy, crimson angels wreathed in flame, each warrior a master of the blade and bolt, each gene-wrought for war beyond mortal limits. Where they strike, the tide turns. Where they land, heretics fall.

They are the wrath of Sanguinius made manifest—swift, flawless, and unstoppable. Across the stars, worlds remember the moment the heavens opened… and the angels fell.

The fearsome Catachan Jungle Fighter regiments include squads of warriors exceptional even by the exacting standards of their birth world. They are seasoned Jungle Fighters who are deadly in close combat, also making use of a versatile array of ranged weapons for every occasion. In Catachan regiments these elite soldiers are called "Catachan Devils", in reference to their famous kill-knives and the voracious predators of their world whose fierceness they emulate in combat.

The Devils' senses are honed to a razor's edge, allowing them to recognise hidden threats in their midst, even enemies who are under cloaking devices. Their particular mission is usually to conduct long-range penetration raids deep behind enemy lines, responsible for bearing the brunt of the enemy's response when battle is finally joined. In other instances Devils are used as expert scouts and specialists, when deployed in this manner they range ahead of the Catachans' main force, engaging enemy ambushers, launching surprise attacks, setting traps and herding enemy forces into the most dangerous of terrain.

Even a regular Catachan is genetically superior on a level that normal humans simply cannot match, making the Devils' reputation even more impressive.

These warriors take on the most dangerous and impossible missions with no fear and regularly come out on top.

Designer's Notes: This is a very popular kill team to design for! I decided that my version would focus on how the Catachans are able to hold their own in melee against much stronger opponents and still survive, with some emphasis on stealth and movement more so than raw kill potential. I used a lot of homages to the Rambo and Predator films with naming conventions and thematics, so it really should feel like you're commanding a team of capable veterans who can stand up to punishment. I've found during playtesting the unique Courage mechanic is best tracked by using a coin. Enjoy!

The Dark Mechanicum, also sometimes referred to incorrectly as the Dark Mechanicus, and who refer to themselves as the "New Mechanicum" or the "True Mechanicum", is a sect of traitorous Tech-priests, members of the Collegia Titanica and Chaos Knights of the ancient Mechanicum who have since become Hereteks in service to Chaos. The fundamental tenet of Hereteks is the acquisition of power through unrestrained technological advancement. Through that endevour they found, or perhaps caused the birth of a demigod that may lavish their unending thrist for knowledge, Vashtorr.

Vashtorr the Arkifane, who bears the titles of "Master of the Soul Forges" and the "God in the Machine," is the Greater Daemon of Chaos who rules over the Forge of Souls where Daemon Weapons and Daemon Engines are forged within the Immaterium's Realm of Chaos. Vashtorr serves Chaos Undivided and claims to have no connection to any of the four major Chaos Gods, having come into existence independently in the Warp as a result of mortals' obsessive pursuit of technological innovation at all costs -- especially inventions that resulted in unexpected and terrible consequences. Together with his infernal Technoaracana and the unquenchable desire of the Dark Mechanicum to explore the unknown, an unholy alliance of cogs and flames will forge their path to dominance.

Most of the Last Chancers were once loyal servants to the emperor, some were rouge mercenaries caught in their sinister acts, all are criminals sent to the penal legions to serve out their punishment for crimes committed to the Imperium of Mankind.

Schaeffer would hand-pick his rag-tag regiment's troops from Imperial prisons' worst convicts because of some natural talent they displayed or because they possessed an uncanny instinct for survival so that they could serve as part of an elite ad hoc military team intended to achieve some difficult, usually borderline insane military objective of the Imperium.

The convicts are given a "last chance" by Schaeffer to be forgiven of their crimes in the eyes of the Emperor of Mankind and this is achieved by receiving an Imperial pardon from the Colonel. These pardons are awarded only to those members of the regiment who survive a number of military operations determined by Schaeffer. Those that die during missions are also awarded a pardon for their service and sacrifice.

This COMPANY HEROES kill team is designed to be a highly reliable and mission-focused force, representing an elite retinue of a Space Marine Captain or Chaplain.

It is inspired by the Space Marine Company Heroes box set, which provides a thematic team of specialists in a single purchase. Two additional operatives (the CHAPLAIN and COMPANY APOTHECARY) are added for some further flexibility.

The team has a composition of 5 operatives. Accordingly, the COMPANY HEROES use a lot of the structure and principles of the DEATHWATCH kill team. Adopted design flairs are: an extra wound per operative, the Veteran Astartes faction rule and a similar suite of ploys/equipment which enable a 5 operative team to compete. A key design theme is that of master-crafted weaponry, which gives Lethal 5+ and additional damage on a critical success. The COMPANY HEROES are designed for reliability, defence and mission focus, but they lack the considerable offensive output and flexibility of the DEATHWATCH.

The CAPTAIN is very similar to the ANGELS OF DEATH version, but gains access the weapon options available in the box: a master-crafted bolter, neo-volkite pistol and power sword.

The CHAPLAIN is the alternative LEADER operative. It is similarly deadly and durable, but has a suite of litanies that can be useful in certain match-ups (instead of a free Strategic and Firefight Ploy).

The COMPANY ANCIENT is mission focussed, with a standard APL enhancement and the ability to perform any action when incapacitated before being removed.

The COMPANY APOTHECARY functions the same as a traditional medic, but has some ranged utility with an Absolver bolt pistol and Reductor pistol.

The COMPANY CHAMPION is very similar to the DEATHWATCH VETERAN BLADEMASTER. It is somewhat toned down: key differences include a Normal Damage stat of 5 whilst lacking the 3+ Sweep profile, a special issue bolt pistol and the Brutal weapon rule.

The COMPANY MARKSMAN has a similar basis to DEATHWATCH MARKSMAN VETERAN, but is somewhat more flexible with an improved melee profile and enhanced mobility (the ability to Guard twice on close-quarters killzones was removed).

Lastly, the COMPANY HEAVY GUNNER brings considerable firepower with a master-crafted heavy bolter: The addition of Lethal 5+ and an additional critical damage ensures the team has considerable firepower.

A Death Korps Grenadier Squad is an elite heavy infantry formation composed of the most seasoned and battle-scarred soldiers of the Death Korps of Krieg. Drawn from veteran Guardsmen and survivors of shattered units, these troops are chosen to lead assaults and break enemy defenses through unwavering discipline and suicidal determination.

Becoming a Grenadier is not a promotion—they retain their previous rank—but their experience and veteran status grant them seniority over regular Guardsmen. Equipped with Flamers, Meltaguns, and Heavy Stubbers, Grenadiers form the vanguard of Krieg’s offensives, advancing on foot or in Centaur APCs under heavy fire. Though casualty rates are extremely high, service in a Grenadier squad is considered both an honor and a duty—an act of atonement and martyrdom for Krieg’s sins before the Emperor.

"Forget the screaming daemons of the Warp. Forget the bloodshed. Those are horrors the mind can process. This... this was something that biology rejects. It started with the barometer on my wrist comp; the glass cracked from the inside out. Then came the taste—copper and brine, thick enough to choke on. The silence wasn't quiet; it was heavy. It was the suppressed roar of ten thousand fathoms pressing against your skull, begging to crush it.

When they finally emerged from the gloom, they didn't march. They drifted. Their armor wasn't just ceramite; it was a pressurized coffin, the colour of a bruised ocean, weeping oily black water that sizzled where it touched the deck. They moved with a hideous, jarring slowness, anchored by a gravity that belonged to the bottom of a dead sea, not this world.

To stand near them was to violate the laws of nature. I saw men drown on dry land. I watched their eyes bulge and burst as the internal pressure fought the external void. I heard the wet, muffled snap of ribs collapsing inward, folded by the weight of an invisible ocean.

We told ourselves that the abyss had an end. It must have. We thought that even the nightmare had a floor. We were wrong."

The Fire Dragons are one of the forms of Eldar Aspect Warriors, who represent a different aspect of the Eldar war god Kaela Mensha Khaine. Embodying the writhing, sinewy dragon of Eldar myth as well as the wanton elemental destruction of Khaine, Fire Dragons are aggressive and warlike close combat fighters who utilized heat weapons to destroy enemy vehicles and strongpoints.

When Fire Dragons are sent as a Kill Team, it is often when the enemy fleeing will not suffice, and thus complete anhilation is required. Equipped with Fusion Weapons, able to turn armor into mere slag, a Kill Team of Fire Dragons is a force to be reckoned with. When they are sent to battle, it is because the scene will be dire - not for the Aeldari, but for their foes.

Fire Warriors are the rank and file troops. Ready to light up the enemy with pulse weapons?.. Because this is the team. Instead of relying on Makerlights like their Pathfinder counterparts, these warriors focus on mobility and adaptability. Fighting in close quarters? Take more breachers! Want to overwhelm your opponent with this games equivalent of Jackal snipers? Take Strikers! Along with a weapon turret for some potential for sneaky activations.

I made these team rules as a way to have a one-box kill team that can be built with the basic T'au Fire Warriors kit. No extra bits needed! I like the kit and now that the stealth suits have their own team, why not have another take on T'au kill team. Hopefully they're not too alike the Pathfinders.

A seething carpet of bio-forms, the Endless Multitude is not a force so much as an event—a living tide unleashed by the Hive Mind to drown resistance beneath sheer, writhing numbers. These swarms do not advance with strategy or fear; they simply flow, countless bodies surging forward in perfect, instinctive unity.

Where a single gaunt is insignificant, a hundred become a weapon. Supported by a single Synapse node—an anchoring psychic beacon pulsing raw hunger into every lesser creature—the swarm moves with unnatural coordination. Termagants scuttle ahead as chitinous rifles spit living ammunition, Hormagaunts leap with scything precision, and Gargoyles descend like razor-winged locusts from the darkened sky. Neurogaunts knot themselves around synaptic creatures, amplifying the invisible threads of command that bind the horde together.

To fight the Endless Multitude is to fight inevitability. Every slain gaunt is replaced. Every breach in the line is flooded with fresh bodies. The swarm does not tire, does not question, and does not stop. Worlds consumed by such tides do not fall—they drown.

Where this kill team appears, resistance falters not from the strength of its claws, but from the crushing realization that the wave never ends.

However, the power of the Ork race as a whole is limited due to the fact that they are split into hundreds of tiny empires, klanz and tribes, which are more often warring between themselves than not. They have the honour of being implanted with gene-seed engineered directly from the genome of the Emperor Himself.

Even though the Tau are now a xenos species gifted in some areas with technology that is more advanced than that available to Mankind, the Tau Lexicon still makes use of much terminology derived from their hunter-gatherer period and companies of Tau warriors are always referred to as Hunter Cadres in the Low Gothic translation.

The Iron Butchers are a deadly combination of the ruthless aggression of the World Eaters and the brutal tenacity of the Iron Warriors. These together under the patronage of Khorne make them an incredibly potent and blood soaked whirlwand of death and carnage.

While their tactics are able to fill in the holes left in the other, the flaw is that the warband has an insatiable hunger for combat and will likely fight amongst themselves as weas the enemy. With each of the legions rubbing off each other in traditions and doctrines, they come together easy to spill blood and skulls for the ever growing throne of Khorne. The Deathwatch, known also as the "Long Vigil," and the "Long Watch," is a unique Chapter of the Adeptus Astartes comprised solely of Veteran Space Marines that serves the Ordo Xenos of the Imperial Inquisition as its Chamber Militant. They are the warriors of last resort when the Inquisition needs access to firepower greater than that which the Astra Militarum or a team of its own Acolytes or Throne Agents can provide.

It is the sacred task of the Deathwatch to stand sentry against all of these terrible xenos races and many more besides. They are ready to act when such ancient evils rise to threaten Mankind once more. The Space Marines of the Deathwatch form the first, and often only, line of defence against these inhuman horrors.

The Sons of Malice are a Renegade Chapter of Chaos Space Marines who turned to the service of the minor Chaos God Malice. In origin, the Sons of Malice were a Chapter loyal to the Emperor, but were influenced by the brutal cannibalistic practices of the tribes of their homeworld of Scelus from which they recruited. Every eleven standard years, the Chapter held rites in which sacrificed captives were devoured and the Astartes drove themselves into a state of animalistic fury. Nonetheless, the Sons of Malice were a byword for the ruthless and relentless punishment of betrayal and heresy, and prided themselves on the high cost they inflicted upon the forces of Chaos.

“We shall deny Nurgle their flesh to fester and rot. We shall deny Khorne their blood and skulls. We shall deny Tzeentch their destinies and fates. We shall deny Slaanesh their pleasure and pain. The Black Templars have been on the longest Imperial Crusade the Imperium of Man has ever known to prove their loyalty to the Emperor of Mankind. These holy warriors are battling to bring the truth and light of the Emperor to the unconquered worlds of the galaxy; their doctrines, traditions, and organization reflect their particular approach to prosecuting the Imperium's wars. They are not a Codex Astartes-compliant Chapter and maintain a very different Chapter structure and culture than is the norm amongst most of the Adeptus Astartes.

Daughters of the Abyss

Whenever an enemy operative is within 6" of a ANATHEMA PSYKANA operative, treat the total APL stat of enemy operatives as 1 lower. Note this isn’t a change to the APL stat, so any changes are cumulative with this.

Whenever an enemy operative is within 6" of a ANATHEMA PSYKANA operative and their APL stat is lower than that operative's, friendly ANATHEMA PSYKANA operatives gain the Punishing weapon rule on ranged weapons, and the Brutal weapon rule on melee weapons.

Pariah Gene

PSYCHIC Ranged weapons cannot inflict damage on this operative. for the purposes of PSYCHIC actions, this operative cannot be selected and is never treated as being within those actions required distances.

Whenever an operative is within 6" of this operative:

  • *That operative cannot perform PSYCHIC actions or use PSYCHIC additional rules
  • That operative cannot use PSYCHIC ranged weapons*

-PSYCHIC melee weapons have no weapon rules and cannot have Dmg stats higher than 3/4

Pathfinders have been a non-classified team since November ’25. During KT'24, they haven’t been in a good spot, and it doesn’t seem likely to change in the future. I have decided to create these fan-made rules in order to make them powerful and fun again. The idea is simple: I used their Kill Team '24 rules as a base, but tweaked some of them and brought back some KT'21 rules they had at the end of that edition (when they were balanced), which I think shouldn’t have been removed.

These are the changes I have made so far:

SHAS’UI OPERATIVE

-Changed Gun Butt to Bonding Knife and its DMG to 3/4 (from KT2).

-This operative regains the special ability from KT2 called Holographic Readout.

-Art of War can only be used once per battle.

-Mont'ka adds 2" to the Move stat instead of only 1".

-Kauyon gives two benefits (as in KT2): Friendly PATHFINDER operatives can perform a free Markerlight action during their activation if they have a Conceal order (from KT3). In addition, whenever an operative is shooting a friendly PATHFINDER operative, if you can retain any cover saves, you can retain one additional cover save, or you can retain one cover save as a critical success instead. This isn’t cumulative with improved cover saves from Vantage terrain (from KT2).

ASSAULT GRENADIER OPERATIVE

-This operative regains the special ability from KT2 called Nanocrystalline Headgear.

BLOODED OPERATIVE

-Changed the SAVE stat to 4+ (from KT2).

DRONE CONTROLLER OPERATIVE

-This operative no longer adds 2" to the Move stat of friendly PATHFINDER DRONE operatives (because drones now have Fly).

-This operative now has a unique action inspired by the Drone Repair Kit equipment from KT2.

TRANSPECTRAL INTERFERENCE OPERATIVE

-Its System Jam unique action now has the same rules as the one from the XV26 Stealth Battlesuits team.

ALL DRONE OPERATIVES

-All drones now have the same Fly rule as Vespids (from KT2).

CLOSE QUARTERS (KT2)

-Each friendly PATHFINDER operative can perform the Guard action (see close quarters rules, Kill Team Core Book) while it has a Conceal order. If it does so, interrupt as normal, but instead of making the Fight or Shoot action it can only perform the Markerlight action for free (if able).

FIREFIGHT PLOY: POINT-BLANK FUSILLADE

-This ploy no longer requires the operative to be Ready.

"The Chem Dog penal legions are often made up of a menagerie of outlaws, ruffians, and vandals, all forcibly conscripted into service to pay penance for crimes against the Imperium. The vast majority of these criminals are drug-addicted vagrants who have long relied on the effects of various battle chems and stimulants to enhance their prowess, a practice that continues after conscription. While these chems have powerful effects, they are often short-lived and require constant use to avoid withdrawal. Astartes: Space marines are genetically augmented humans forged for only one purpose: war. During each friendly Pox Spreader Heretic Astartes operative’s activation, it can perform either two shoot actions or two fight actions. If its two shoot actions, a boltgun weapon must be selected for at least one of them. Each friendly Pox Spreader Heretic Astartes operative can counteract regardless of its order.

Disgustingly Resilient: The bloated bodies of the bubonic astartes are capable of shrugging off hits that would bring down other astartes, and the shambling corpses of the poxwalkers fight on regardless of the damage its carcass has suffered. Whenever an attack dice inflicts 3 or more damage to a friendly Pox Spreader operative, roll a d6: on a 4+, subtract 1 from the damage suffered.

Walking Contagions *The bodies and weapons of the Death Guard are purpose built for the concoction and incubation of disease; whether these gifts are given through a well placed bolter shell or a brutal swing, these malignant poxes spread through the enemy forces like fire. * Each time a Pox Spreader operative attacks an operative, if any critical successes were resolved, that operative gains an Infection token. At the start of each Turning Point, for each enemy operative without an Infection token that is within 3” of an operative with an Infection token, roll one d6: on a 3+, that enemy operative gains an Infection token.

Whether it's the result of warp mutation of local fauna, a lesser xenos species, a deformed Tyranid fleet, or something not from this dimension, the ever-growing Skaven threat has begun to spread its dirty claws across the stars. Very little is known about the origins of these creatures, as Imperial records never noted anything similar before M41; some suggest they may be related to the equally devious xenos Stryxis, though this hypothesis is clearly inconclusive. Curiously, Skaven appear to possess previously unseen psychic properties, capable of eroding into ruin everything in their path, even the memory of their existence from the face of the galaxy...

Authors note: my main goal while adapting this kill team from KT21 to KT24 was to keep it as faithful to the original rules as possible. however, some creative liberties had to be made due to the changes in rules and game flow, e.g, how shoot and fight twice changed from tactical ploys to the Astartes rule for space marines, and the change in how equipment worked. these changes also include balance changes made for certain weapons and rules changed from KT21 to KT24, e.g, supercharged plasma changing from piercing 2 to piercing 1, lethal 5+. hopefully you find the changes and additions made are within reason and help make the team more suitable for this edition.

Within the Tower of the Lost, the Ashen Chaplain observed a handful of Death Company warriors who did not succumb to the howling fury of the Black Rage. They did not scream, nor did they strike their chains. Instead, they watched in silence, their attention sharpening only when the traitor’s name was spoken. Where is Horus? These warriors were not reliving the death of Sanguinius. They were hunting his killer. Their rage had not shattered their discipline, but hollowed it out and reforged it into fixation. Tactical doctrine became ritual. Engagement became judgement. Believing this aberration significant, the Chaplain sanctioned a sealed experiment—Project Black Spite—drawing upon the altered genetic legacy of Lemartes. Few survived. Those who did were gathered into a single, unrecorded kill team. They do not seek victory or redemption. They designate the prey, close the circle, and wait. They are the dedicated servants of the Blood God Khorne, the Chaos God of war and murder, and live for nothing more than to spill blood in his name.

"Mercy! Oh Lord Khorne, truly have you led us to a land overflowing with blood and skulls! Give them the mercy of death."

Long have the ancient Lords of the Necrons slumbered while their realms have been infested by primitive races. While most are content to let their servants destroy these interlopers, some nobles prefer to see to the extermination of trespassers personally. Whether it is to revel in the hunt or reclaim ancient artefacts once lost, the result is the same: a singularly terrifying opponent relentlessly pursuing the eradication of the unclean and the preservation of their dynasty's honor.

The Typhon tyranid NPOs plus some homebrew ones to add to them. Added enemies : Genestealers, Neurogaunts, Neuroloids. (I know neuroloids are just tokens in 40k, but I wanted to use mine in killteam)
I mainly wanted more variety for small enemies, and to use all small units from Leviathan.

PARASITIC SURGE

Each time a friendly TYRANID SWARM friendly OPERATIVE other than the TYRANID WINGED PRIME is incapacitated, place a Swarm marker in control range of that operative before removing it fROm the Killzone.

As a STRATEGIC GAMBIT in each turning point after the first, for every Swarm marker, roll one D6:

On a 1-2, remove that marker from the killzone and repeat this process (if able).

On a 3-5, return a TERMAGAUNT/HORMAGAUNT, or a BARBAGAUNT on a 6, with half its Wounds, CONCEALED and in control range of that marker, and not within control range of enemy operatives (if you cannot do so, treat the roll as 1- instead). REPEAT THIS PROCESS ONCE MORE

SYNAPTIC OVERDRIVE

Friendly TYRANID SYNAPSE operatives that fight or shoot an enemy already targeted by another friendly operative, choose one: Accurate 1 Ceaseless for the ranged weapons.

While a friendly TYRANID SWARM operative is within 6" of a friendly TYRANID SYNAPSE operative, its ranged weapons have the Relentless weapon rule and its melee weapons have the Accurate 1 weapon rule.

LAST MOMENT OVERLOAD

Once per Turning Point, if you roll two or more fails during the defense roll step of a friendly TYRANID operative within 6” and visible to another friendly TYRANID SYNAPSE operative, you may use this rule.

👉 The operative immediately gains STUNNED.

Then choose one of the following effects:

-Change one normal save into a critical save.

  • Discard one failed save, then change another failed save into a normal save.

This ability cannot be used if the operative is already Stun

Few regiments within the Imperial Guard embody brotherhood as deeply as the Vostroyans. Hardened by the brutal training grounds of their devastated industrial homeland, the Vostroyan Firstborn are forged amid smoke, snow, and ruin. By the ancient decree known as the "Offering of the First Born", the eldest son of every Vostroyan family must serve in the Guard. A never-ending penance demanded by the Imperium. This solemn tradition dates back to the Horus Heresy, Vostroya refused to provide regiments to the Emperor, preferring instead to reserve the population in the forges of the world to better arm the imperium. Today, the Vostroyans are renowned for their mastery of urban warfare and winter campaigns, though their discipline and valor make them formidable in any theater of war. Their homeworld is ruled by a committee of Techtriarchs, a fusion of Adeptus Mechanicus Magi and Imperial nobility ensuring an unbreakable bond between Vostroya’s forges, its faith, and its fiercely loyal regiments.

The Alpha Legion, also known as the Ghost Legion during the early Great Crusade and the last Legion created during the First Founding. They turned against the Emperor during the Horus Heresy, becoming Chaos Space Marines. Even before they turned to Chaos, the Alpha Legion were renowned as the most secretive of all the Legions. The most experienced of the Alpha Legion are always specialists in the arts of the infiltrator and the thoughtsmith. The chosen agents of their warband's leader, these master operatives are able to bind their victims in spiralling webs of suspicion, confusion and doubt before springing their lethal traps, including fully changing thier disguise physically and mentally to blend in with their enemies.

Kill teams of XV26 Stealth Battlesuits provide the T’au Empire with a relentless vanguard dedicated to rapid, decisive engagement. Leveraging their camouflage systems as tools of aggression rather than observation, they breach heavily defended perimeters to deliver overwhelming firepower at point-blank range. Their goal is to sever the enemy’s chain of command and shatter their cohesion in a single, synchronized strike.

Hello everyone, as I'm sure you all know the release of this kill team left many disappointed. Many of us felt as if this team was not what it should have been. I too felt this way. For those who are about to use this team, this is not an overpowered version of the original, at least that's not how it is supposed to be. This is a revamp of the original with a decent number of changes that should bring it up to par with most other teams without losing the vision that was meant for this team. Any feedback is welcome and thanks for taking the time to read this.
